So I figured it might be useful to define a few criteria for "respected commenter" before a disagreement breaks out.
- The commenter must have a track record of generally commenting daily with the only breaks being excusable.
- The commenter must write related and intelligent comments that do not distract from the strip. (This could include on-topic polls in the future, but no guarantees about that).
- The commenter must be well known, well liked, and respected by most of the comment section and have a significant history in the comment section.
- The commenter must be established on the comment section and cannot be very new.
- Has to have at least been on the comment section for a year
- If the commenter has committed some notable act (i.e. help win a poll war) then that commenter may be considered respected even if they don't meet the other criteria.
- Only an Admin or 7o'clock can add Respected Commenter.
If you believe you deserve to be a Respected Commenter, contact 7o'clock or another Admin on their Message Wall. 7o'clock retains veto power on other Admins' decisions.
