Wiki Rules
These are the official rules of the Big Nate Comments Wiki. Please familiarize yourself with them. If you have any questions regarding these rules, please message any of the Staff.
Punishments for breaking rules varies. Usually, the punishment for a first-time infraction is a warning. However, the staff members will not warn you twice about the same rule. Repeated rule-breaking may result in a ban.
These are only the general wiki rules. For Discussion Forum rules, please see Discussions Rules.
Note: Rules labeled with an asterik (*) are serious rules. If you break any of these rules, your account may be permanently banned without warning.
This rule is universal on the FANDOM website. You must be at least 13 years old to own a FANDOM account. In California and Europe, the age minimum is 16. Users found to be underage will have their accounts terminated by FANDOM.
Not safe for work content, including nudity, violent gore, and sexual content is strictly forbidden. Posting links to NSFW content on external sources is also forbidden.
FANDOM allows multiple accounts, so you are allowed to have more than one account. However, multi accounts that impersonate other users are strictly forbidden. Multi accounts that are used to "troll" are also forbidden. Account-trolling includes, but is not limited to spreading fake news or propaganda, pretending to be a multi of a different person or breaking any of the other listed rules.
Furthermore, creating accounts to evade blocks is strictly prohibited. There is more info on this topic further down.
This rule is universal on the FANDOM site. If you are blocked by a staff member, do not create another account to come back. If you wish to appeal your ban, please contact a staff member either on Discord, or on your message wall (in most cases, you will still have access to it).
Do not leak "doxx," or leak other people's personal information. Peronsal information includes, but is not limited to name, Any form of location (including school names) and IP Address.
Also, please do not leak your own personal information. You will not be punished if you do so, but it is not recommended.

Do not plagiarize work from outside sources or from other pages on this wiki. If you wish to use someone else's work on your page, you must ask for their permission.
The purpose of this wiki is to provide a safe and fun online environment for the Big Nate community (and possibly others). Thus, any form of cyberbullying will not be tolerated. Racism, homophobia, or other forms of discriminiaton are also forbidden. Do not use any slurs, including but not limited to the n-word and the fa-word.
As FANDOM is a 13+ community, using profanity is allowed. However, using profanity excessively to the point where it's spam, or using it in a form of harassment is not allowed.
The purpose of badges is to provide a fun merit system for devoted editors. Thus, manually farming badges is not allowed. Methods of Badge farming include, but are not limited to spamming useless categories on pages, spamming pointless edits on pages, spamming images on pages and or repeatedly undoing and redoing the same edit.
The blog post feature is great for posting opinions or random content. To access blog posts, click here. Low-effort or highly-opinionated pages may be converted into blog posts by Wiki Administrators.
Profile pages are personal pages where users can write about themselves. You may edit only your own profile page. The only exception is if another user grants you permission to make changes on their profile pages. For clarification, profile pages look like this.
Do not try and find loopholes in these rules. If the staff team determines that you are breaking the rules, then you will be punished even if your infraction is not explicitly stated on this page.
Discussing, encouraging, or organizing raids on other wikis or websites is not allowed on the BNCW. Also, do not launch raids claiming to represent the wiki, or using a name/claiming you are from our wiki. The BNCW does not support raids and any rule-breaking content will be deleted and its poster punished.
